Fuerza Regida Berkeley Concert reviews
Maxwell at Chrysler Hall (Norfolk, VA)
Years ago, I attended a Fuerza Regida concert at the Landmark Theatre in Richmond and it was one of the most stellar performances I've experienced. From the very beginning, Fuerza Regida exhibited high energy and smooth transitions from earlier hits to new material from the "BLACKsummersnight" CD. The visual aspects of the show added a dynamic element as well. The one element that suffered, however, was the inability to discern the lyrics, as the clarity of the vocals was challenging, especially in comparison to the opening performance of the very talented Chrisette Michele. It was an entertaining show overall, but not as compelling as the performance rendered at the Landmark years ago. In spite of this, he put on a great show!
